I wanted this to look nice, so I went a lil' overboard on the settings possibly. I am still kinda new at this. But out of 20 prints or so, even with some that I printed at higher quality settings... this printed fantastic. My best print to date. The only thing I see is the surface underneath where the large support structure was has a fairly grainy looking finish (I think it's visible in the 1st pic of the part). Other that that it looks beautiful. Kudos to you Sniper for a beautiful looking design that I am guessing is going to perform as well as it looks.
The filament I used is ZYLtech PLA. I like the prints I have made with ZYLtech filament even better than the prints I made with the Hatchbox filament. Highly recommended (so far).
My CR-10 is completely stock as far as the extruder/hot end goes. This print took 11 hours and 20 minutes. I am now printing the rest of the components at the same settings.
Solid infill top and bottom
I am not experienced enough to know why this print turned out so perfect vs other prints I have made with similar or even higher settings. So if you have any advice or input please drop a comment!
