Thank you for uploading a pic of this, it looks really good. I'm sorry I wasn't more help with altering the design to your machine. I didn't understand it at the time, but the problem was probably because your machine has a larger nozzle (maybe a .5mm one) instead of my machine (i think its a .35mm). Something like that would really mess with things that need to be press fit together.
probably, i'm still new at the whole 3d printing thing. In fact this was my first thing i printed on the printer at my school. It was also the first time i got to mess with the STL files.
So dont worry about not being more help, it was a good learning experience for me :)

Yeah the only problems I ha with the original design was the connectors and the clip part, other than that everything worked great.
