MakerBot Print is our newest print-prepration software, which supports native CAD files and STL assemblies,

I got my stuff posted if you didnt see it already :D
Quick question, is the connection for the knot to the neck band have to curved? Or do you think I can pull off making it flat and straight ?
I dont' think it does, mine looks pretty flat. Here's a picture:
Thanks that helps alot!
Having an extremely old machine(Not makerbot) doesn't help for this kinda thing. Ive had to make a few adjustments with the 8 connecting pieces to make them fit properly, (which i have printing now) and i so have to make the slot part for the clip i have.
Nice, keep at it! The payoff is so worth it.
Post a pic when you're done, and maybe a link to your modified files for other people with older printers.
Should be up by the end of monday when i get back to school
Very cool. Thanks for posting the pics!
Howd your neckband come out?
Im not using the same machine as you so im still trying to figure out how it will turn out.
Turned out well. Just make sure you don't print any top or bottom layers and it'll turn out like it's supposed to. Basically a big circle with some clips.
You got to remove a small bit of plastic. I'll post a pic alongside this one to show.
Yah so the machine im using prints out exactly as the STL file shows, so i got a big circle with some groves lol.
So im gunna try to get a small clip of some sort.
Yeah you might try modifying the knot piece to replace the slots for the neck band with some loops or something that way you can use a string or a piece of cloth to attach it.
yeah the only issue im having is i need the dimensions for the grooves so it fits the back of the knot properly.
