I had to change the position on the rods as my lens has a diameter of 76 mm.
And I made a smaller small-gear (17 teeth):
I used this parameters for the gears:
Modules: 1,5 mm
Pressure angle: 20°

Yeah, good idea. The design is CC - so remix it.
If you want to ask someone, you better ask fridaysun (Frank) - it´s his design, not mine - I only posted a make ;)
So why did I waste days on this? It's not even the least bit close to fitting my nikon 5300 with the smallest primary
But as I wrote, I modified it. I opend the slot in"fokus-arm" a bit so I could move the mechanics farer to the outside - and I made new gears.
It all depends on the lens you have on your camera - but as you can see in the video it worked for me.
