This is actually the second set I print. First one was a hit at the bus stop so I made another one!
How's the fit? I had to do an acetone soak on mine to keep the seat clips from snapping across the build layers on a tight fit to the seat uprights.
Well, my support broke when printing and it wasn't perfectly smooth on the curve but it does the job of holding a bag of trash in a Honda Minivan so I don't complain. Great Design!! I didn't do a soak. I sanded it down and moved on. I have played a lot with layer heights and base/travel speed in FlashPrint so I can get a decent print but tree structures, for whatever reason, have a tendency to be knocked down occasionally during build process. If I needed it to look better I would have to add manually additional support.
Kids have kicked the bag in the car, pulled on it but the clips pretty much stay in place. They have slid off once but never broke. It is a good fit for my car.
I made it more than once since these are very popular at my bus stop (think screaming kids and lots of minivans).
Thank you for designing these awesome hooks. I didn't know how much I needed them until I printed them out :)
