I made this for my Feiyu Mini 2D gimbal on a Quanum XJ470. Fits great but it blocks the screen on top. It's fairly easy to slip the Session in and out so not a big deal.
Awesome stuff! Glad it works. How do you find the balance? I think its a little bit heavy towards the servo side, I could correct it by moving the camera but that would mean the lens isnt centered so its a trade off.
Worked for me anyhow.
The balance isn't too bad. On the 2D, there's not much room to move it farther away from the gimbal motor because it will hit the top of the plate.
I applied a strip of electrical tape around the inside of the mount to hold the Session with a bit more friction.
I did the same with mine actually. I also thought about moving the band which secures the gopro so that you could see the screen but move it forward and it obscures the button. Would have had to shift it quite far forward, but wanted to keep weight and material to a minimum.
Anyhow glad you like it and thanks for the feedback.
I saw one mount where it grips the Session on the front so the screen and button are clear but the servo motor doesn't spin 360. Maybe one day I'll look closer but again, it's not really a big deal since it's easy to pull it out to adjust.
