Super Game PiSP
Made by Cruvola, uploadedDescription
I'm happy to say that I was able to make a Super Game PiSP in Blue PLA. Everything went together rather quick and easy. I took the route of de-soldering the GPIO and soldering my wires directly to the raspberry pi 3 board, as it seemed to save a small amount of space, and ensured the wires were going to stay firmly connected to the Pi.
Thank you for the great design!!!
looks amazing how'd you print the top pieces so well? ive tried with and without support and mine look awful! Any advice?
Thanks!. I printed it directly to the glass bed on my printer.
I used Hatchbox Blue PLA, at 210C extruder temp.
60C Bed temp.
The first layer of the print had my print head at 0.30 from the glass. I used a spark plug gapping tool to set the height.
I also gave the print area a quick mist of Aqua Net hair spray (borrowed it from my wife). I've never been happy with Painters Tape, and I can't work the air bubbles out of Kapon. So hair spray does the trick, and it comes clean with warm water.
Thank you so much. I use the same spray I don't like tape. I've been using my metal bed though I'll have to try the glass trick. Thank you again.
Turned out great! nice work!
