It works. Took about 10 and 1/2 hours to make... but worth it. :-)
This is big -- close to 250g of PLA in total! My MakerGear M2 took almost 9 hours to make the Track (running at 150mm/s), which I made out of black PLA with a large brim to help hold it to the heated glass bed. The Lockcap took about 14 minutes. Although it prints in less than an hour, the Spiral is the biggest problem because the base is way too small to keep this thing from deflecting somewhat as it is printing, even with a brim. The result is that the tolerance on the spiral gets progressively worse as you approach the top of the build... it would probably be worthwhile adding some bracing struts to be removed after printing, but I think mine (marginally) printed well enough without that help. The Turncap was effortlessly printed in gray PLA in about 20 minutes.
