I love how you made all these files perfect for printing, without having to rotate or scale anything and without support. A true engineer!
I had to file down some parts, especially to get the lid in and out. The last 5mm is not very smooth, even after filing; I'm not sure why it gets stuck, but I suspect it's the inner shaft that is too tight at the top end.
(3mm PLA, 0,1mm layer height)
Also filled up the triangle/arrow holes with white, using a piece of filament and a soldering iron. See last picture.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm always happy to make tweaks where they'r needed.
Can i ask what nozzle size r u using?
From your description of the problem it sounds as if the inner tube is tapering slightly toward the bottom end. Is it possible there is a print artifact or some stopping the the flared end of the inner tube from fitting correctly into the the "bottom".
Always a bit tricky trying to performing a remote diagnosis :)
It's an Ultimaker 0.4mm nozzle. It's not a big problem though, it works, and wearing it out a bit by repeatedly moving it also helps a lot with the soft PLA.
I really love the design. Have been fiddling with it all evening!
