will you be doing a darth vader hemet ?
Geoffrey has done a rather splendid one. I'm not doing a Vader.
I'm in envy of your collection... but at the same time I just want to give you more to make hehe... Darth coming along very well today.
This is both great and terrible news! The Scout trooper is half done as BB-8 is taking all my time at the moment. 3PO not started but I fear all priorities will change when the Vader files arrive. all the others are practise runs :-)
what do you use for the eye piece?
3mm dark green transparent acrylic sheet (from ebay. Cut to size, heated up and shaped to the eye holes, same method for all helmets (I've done four so far, 2 traditional Stormtroopers, 1 new one and the Imperial guard).
You should check out these sick Kylo Ren stl files for another helmet to your collection! https://www.myminifactory.com/object/jj-industries-kylo-ren-helmet-14106
How did you paint this helmet?
Sanded, primed and sprayed with white gloss apray (car paint). Black is enamel paint, satin hand painted onto the white.
