can I get this file?
I am making this for educational purpose, and the lm guide is to expensive...
CAD files are here: https://grabcad.com/library/signum-cxy150r2-2
do not forget to tip the designer :)
Well, I already got that file, but I cannot find the x,y axis steel rod instead of lm guide...
Using steel rods was a very very bad idea, I dropped that design in favour of rails to make it much more rigid and precise.
I also think lm rails are good for quality, but in school education, we should buy that in limited money but there's a lot of students. so we should get this kit as much as we can.
so I am finding the cheaper way despite of the low quality.
can you help me to share the files...?
No, sorry, I didn't keep bad designs, so you have no chance to shoot yourself in the foot.
Great job Roman!
Thanks! Still in progress at the moment. Yesterday I discovered that hotend carriage is shaped for old style E3D hotends (V5 or similar), need to reshape it for original E3D V6. Not really a great deal but still some work to do...
ah sorry. Reshape to v6. ThumbsUp
Yep :) Also I'm currently thinking if I shall leave cheap LM8UU or replace it with Igus DryLin RJMP 01-08. I already have Igus bearings but don't really like the idea of disassembling the whole XY gantry :)
Why V5? E3D V6 most better, i change my v5 to v6.
