Hi, I fried my motherboard last week. Not sure how it happened, started a print, came back 2 hrs later and the right platter adjustment screw had fell off.
head was just slamming into side of table. looked like it started 1st layer then bombed out. I've checked wires, heater and thermistor but printer says error heater/thermistor. doesn't give a code but beeps and won't move. I.m running Arduiro 1.6.0 firmware and Repetier host. Since it crashed, I changed the Mosfet on the board, swapped out the head for the E3dV6 clone that I had planned. May have blown fuse on MB but I can't find it.
So any help or if anyone has a 1.0 MB for sale ?
I've been working on converting my Da Vinci 1.0 in to my take of a new version FrankenVinci, Using a Anycubic Trigorilla board but any Ramps board will do as I've also worked on making a version of Marlin 1.1.9 with the settings that can easily be used with most ramps boards (as long as you wire in the board correctly)
My goal was to use everything I can from the printer to start with, But also sort out known issues to make it into the best printer it can be.
Still using the optical end stops (have worked out the wiring and resistor setup to be this and works very well), also the the nozzle cleaning and priming set up as well the X,Y and Z setup. But had to do away with the extruder setup and use a E3D v6 full metal hotend as well the little control board that goes with it.
On tests so far I have got the layer height down to believe it or not. To 0.06, but you do have to print onto a raft to do it. And this is on testing so far.
I still have a few things to do with it. But one done will post every thing I found and used to get my project working.
Are you all interested or not to see how I go with this project. Yes or no??
So just really looking for a straightforward answer (if even possible) that I have been unable to find at all anywhere online.
I am looking to flash a 3rd party firmware onto my Da Vinci 1.0 Pro, but want to know if it is possible to re-flash the stock firmware in case I change my mind down the road... Thank you in advance for your time and help!
I have a Da VInci 1.0 running Repetier .92 that I have been printing with for years now. All of a sudden upon boot my temps are WAY off from what they should be and have been historically. I thought at first that it was just a thermistor problem, so I replaced it, but am stuck with the same problem. I have an e3dv6 hotend with a brand new thermistor. Anybody have any ideas or similar experiences? Upon boot both the hotend and the heated bed read at 166 degrees C even when I completely disconnect the thermistor from the hotend.
