I have a da Vince 1.0a. Recently I'm unable to get consistent bed calibration. When I get a successful calibration and then repeat the procedure it varies widely and usually is out of calibration. for example:
A B C
280 302 279 fail
286 290 281 pass
304 304 289 pass
286 303 281 fail
297 299 282 pass
Anybody have any clue as to why this is happening?
I stopped using the calibration tool in the printer. Google calibrate da vinci with a piece of paper. That's all i ever use any more and it is spot on almost every time. Mine does that with the springs every so often. I keep dialing it in and eventually it stops.
I tried the paper and I even bought the dial indicator and made two different clips. The dial jumps all over the place. However, once I do get it calibrated it stays good for a long time. Right now it seems consistent after 5 calibrations and several good prints.
