So my daughter (15) and I (much much older) decided to get a Tronxy X3A for Christmas. When we bought this we knew there would be limited directions. This is a big giant experiment for both of us, and we love the challenge. However, We’re getting frustrated because we can’t figure out what all is happening for each setup action.
So when we prepare the extruded head, the directions say “auto home, then z-offset, then store memory, then load memory, then auto home, then bed level”. Figured out the z-offset, but why store memory, then load memory? What’s the difference? How do we change auto home? We crashed the extruded a coupe times already so hate to press too much further. Thanks
I bought a 4mm ULTRABASE glass plate. After installing it, however, the sensor stops the Z axis at 0.48mm. The minimum set Zoffset is 0.5 mm, so when I mold the first 0.30mm layer it is not extruded and sometimes the extruder hits the plate. I thought about changing the sensor to take another more sensitive one. Do you have any other suggestions to give me? Can I change the firmware settings if necessary? how can I do?
It starts rlly well but with each layer the gap gets smaller and then it begins to drags on lower levels eventually causing complete dis alignment, fish printer and print plz help
