Flexion dual HT upgrade on qidi x-pro

by zoltair

Im considering getting this upgrade as I want to print in higher temps, and if im going to do the upgrade I want to just upgrade both extruders one time. I know the kit has 1 HT extruder and one normal. Has anyone here installed this kit yet. My concern is the firmware. Will the firmware let me print in higher temps like 260 for petg and nylon?. One onscreen menu will let me select it but Im unsure if the printer will actually heat past 250c. I cant really test this now due to not wanting to incinerate my PTFE tubes in the process. Any info is appreciated thanks

Nozzles not equal height?

I've noticed when leveling that the left nozzle feels a tiny bit lower than the right. Is there an easy adjustment for this?

Upgrading the extruder?

by Tylera2001

Was lately looking at upgrading one of my extruders to an all metal Micro Swiss hot end, (reason being, it can reach higher temps and isn't limited by a PTFE tube melting or degrading over time) and was curious on if anyone has any experience with said upgrade and would be able to lend any advice. I see they have a version on amazon that comes with a cooling block, but im not exactly sure if it would be needed. Copuldn't find anything on this printer and hot end online and don't want to rely on how it installs on other printers because the qidi x-pro is different.
Here is alink to the sight as well for the upgraded hot end.
