has anyone ever done this?
I know it says when you buy it that it can be done.
I see people printing Nylon at about 260 and this printer seems to only go up to 250.
are people upgrading the print heads first?
it is listed in the things that it can print from the manufacture so you would think it would be able to do it with no or slight mods.
Please let me know, I am looking at trying some nylon but don't want to waste money on filament if it can not be done.
I have been using the makerbot desktop software and it works ok but I want something with a little more features.
blocking supports and such.
I tried to use Cura and I added the X3G writer plug in so it now creates the file but when I try and print with my M180 it makes a not so happy noise and looks like it is moving really slow and never zeros out in the right rear corner.
what am I don't wrong?
any better suggests on software. it seem like a lot of people on Youtube use Cura no matter what printer they have so I figured it was good.
I have a M180, dual extruder that has an ongoing heating issue. It appears that it is either not sensing the temp (not even ambient) and everything reads 0 or it will read 300c+ or read 20 and push the extruder temp till the plastic turns black. Printed one print last week now its stuck on 0 and will not preheat or print.
Anyone know where I can get a replacement board or if one of the Arduino Mega based kits could work in its place?
