I am leaning towards building a Hypercube Fusion Linear Rail (X and Y) because for the Evolution none of the .stl files that i have downloaded from Thingiverse, Yeggi and Facebook for the XY joiner (X8LMUUxY10LMUU) match up. When i print the XY joiners Instead of the X axis holes being 8mm they still come out 10mm no matter what .stl file i use. So i decided to try the fusion. So if anybody reads this post and you have the .stl file for the Optical Endstop Mount and Flag for the XY intersects for the Fusion linear rails or by chance some one has an accurate .stl file for the Evolution XY Joiner Smooth rod (X8LMUUxY10LMUU) then i could revert back to my original plan to build the evolution i would much appreciate it cause i am not so good in CAM/CAD software to design one myself.
Kind Thanks in Advance
Just wanted to introduce myself, I've had an Anet A8 for a couple of years and finally decided to move up. So I'm building a HEVO, Ordered the frame and guide rails today. Already have some of the parts, the rest will be arriving over the next few weeks.
So any advice you can give would be most welcome.
So for a standard 10mm xrod setup you need a carriage with a lm10uu ballbearing (Diameter outer: 19mm). For carbon fiber rods you need drylin bearings or bushings. I on the other hand want to use the encased drylin bearing (RJUM-01-10) which have the same outer diameter as a lm10uu.
the problem is is that I can't find any x carriage that supports LM10UU bearing.
Could someone help?
