Anyone interested in aluminum bed support for your i3 Plus? Well, I found an US seller that you can get it delivered in few days. It took me only about 7 hours of intensive searching to find the one and the only. And it cost only $30! That is hella lot better than waiting for a month from China and wont fit without modification. And it’s at least $80 + 2 weeks shipping on Amazon. Not an option.
Enough said. Here you go.https://gulfcoast-robotics.com/products/aluminum-y-carriage-plate-upgrade-for-flsun-i3-3d-printers
I made myself
Man, that looking really nice. I can imagine how sweet and rigid your machine will be when you’re done. I actually when on a shopping spree the other day and bought an aluminum bed, nice looking bed springs, 5 MGN12 rails (banggood.com got deal on rails, all length under $19), 2 extra mgn12 blocks for bed rails, 2 spider/plum z couplers, 8mm range level sensor (I use glass and the 3mm stock sensor almost screwed up my printer), and some other stuff that I dont even remember.
Are you going to use direct drive? Since rails are smooth and rigid you can get speed and quality at the same time...
Ohh your box of nuts and bolts reminds me that I need to stock up some for all the craps I just bought. Oy its going to take me a month to finish.... what have I got myself into!?
Edit: here is mobile link to banggood.com rail deal. All length under $19. If they dont have the length you need then buy the longer ones and cut it. Hacksaw + baby oil works fine.https://usa-m.banggood.com/MGN12H-250300500550mm-Linear-Rail-Guide-Linear-Sliding-Guide-Block-CNC-Tool-p-1156260.html?rmmds=myorders
Today the printer is in such working condition
your printer will last a life time!
