Flsun Plus aluminum bed support

by Sndgjaytr

Anyone interested in aluminum bed support for your i3 Plus? Well, I found an US seller that you can get it delivered in few days. It took me only about 7 hours of intensive searching to find the one and the only. And it cost only $30! That is hella lot better than waiting for a month from China and wont fit without modification. And it’s at least $80 + 2 weeks shipping on Amazon. Not an option.

Enough said. Here you go.

FLSUN i3 plus still worth it? 2019

by eoctek

Hi everyone, I'm interested in buying a FLSUN i3 plus and would like to hear your opinion.
Worth it?
What are the necessary upgrades?
I already have an Anet A8 for 2 years so I do not think I will have much difficulty with i3 plus

What forum categories should we have?

by jmzjamz

Hi guys. I made the group a couple years ago when I first got my Flsun. I am glad there are so many people who care about this printer :)

As the group owner there aren't many settings I can change. I can create "forums" though. Right now we just have one forum called general for everything. Do you have any suggestions about what different categories I should create for our posts?

I can also remove things from from our list of things. I have decided to get rid of the things that aren't relevant to the printer.

Replacement for Wheels?

by MecannibalVector

Hi All,

After digging into my 2 i3's pretty deeply over the last month I've come to the conclusion that one of the biggest generators of artifacts, be they banding, salmon skin, irregularities, in the X and Z directions is the wheels shipped with these kits. They are unfortunately cheap and not manufactured to the highest standards. About what you'd expect given the price. I've actually had to get FLSun to ship me a bag of replacements because of this, but only a few in the entire bag were near being 'true'.

Has anyone had any luck with replacing these from a 3rd party? I've seen Delrin wheels (well, supposedly Delrin) on AliExpress, but has anyone tried them? Any good?

I have a redesigned carriage system I'd like to publish that greatly improves X and Z rigidity, but the wheels are doing the same thing they have on every carriage I've tried and caused it to move in ways it shouldn't.
