New Bowden tube

by Krytern

Where do you guys get your Bowden tubes? The ones I see on amazon, the reviews say they are too tight. I'd prefer to get the white ones because they are cheaper, I'm in the UK.

How to remove the plastic end caps on the back of the Ender 3.

by Shanemmelzer

Does anyone know how to remove the plastic end caps on the back of the Ender 3 Pro? I am talking about the base of the Y axis. I have tried gently prying them off, but don't want apply too much force to damage the machine. Thanks in advance.

firmware update through cura

by printingjunkie

Hey guys Im new to 3d printing and was hoping for some help updating firmware. Now I do not have an arduino so I am forced to do it through cura. I have connected my printer to my windows 7 PC with the mini usb cable and done everything right. I struggle with getting the correct .HEX file and weeding through the zip file I downloaded from http://marlinfw.org/docs/basics/install.html. I thought I had the right one but when I began the update the said failed to communication error. I proceed to try multiple cables and even my windows 10 laptop.I could rely use and appreciate help.

Printed 20mm calibration cube

by bossblue

Downloaded and printed 20mm calibration cube, finish is good
Measurements are X axis 20.06
Y axis 20.16
Z axis 20.14

I ask, will I benefit from calibrating extruder, and will this give me more accuracy ?

Layers problem

by uneasy

I am just having massive issue with my new ender 3, I used to have one before and never had such a thing.

I can't make a first layer to be nice and smooth, I have BLtouch and leveled bed manually anyway as well. Played with temps and different filaments, but always same result. And second layer is even worse

extrusion problem?

by exquisitecadaver

hi friends! i've been having major problems with my ender 3; it's always underextruding and the layers don't seem to adhere to each other. i end up with this completely unusable, fibrous mass of PLA. i really don't know that much about 3d printing so i'm pretty lost on how to trouble shoot. any advice would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Ball shaped prints

by serget

When I print anything sphereshaped, like e.g. the ball joints for the pumpkinspider, or the dragonballs the bottom half of the balls (with max supports everywhere ) will break off and the prints will either fail or like the the balljoint case when attached to a bar somwhere around a third of the sphere they will re-appear, How do I fix this? Can I fix this on an ender? Anyone ever faced this?

Start of Print?...

by CosmicWarriorX1

Is there a slicer setting that can mark the line the printer makes before printing? My ender 3 makes a short line to the right but my extruder is backing out the filament on that line mark. So when the print starts it looks like under extrusion until I quickly rush to manually push the filament back into the extruder. Everything on my printer prints perfectly, however the very start of a print I have to manually and quickly run the filament that got pushed back.
