Gap in walls

by ggood007

A week ago, my prints were turning out absolutely perfect. Now, using the EXACT same settings, there are gaps between the infill and the walls - but only in some areas. I have pictures attached.... It's extremely odd. Even the walls are printed with terrible quality. I realigned my x and y axis so they are the exact distance thinking that might be the problem; but the problem persists. Both axis are oiled up nicely.

Any thought/ideas?

Ender 3 Quit working. Help?!

by crxefx1

So yesterday I had a print stop mid way thru. Like the printer froze, pressing the button/wheel did nothing. Same thing happens tonight, Freezes up after maybe 1 minute of printing. Now, it will not recognize my sd card (tried a different sd card also) and the fan above the sd card slot turns on and off randomly. I wonder if the pcb in there is defective? I have had this machine for 6 months with no issues. Any advice? Thank you

Nozzle rising off print bed at start of print

by Cartersauce1318

I've had my Ender 3 Pro for a short while. I have done about 15-20 successful prints. I added yellow bed level springs and a dual gear metal extruder. I was doing some research on calibrating the X Y Z axis by doing a calibration cube, and calibrating the extruder for the best results. I ordered a pair of calipers, did the math for the extruder and had it set appropriately, and then I printed a calibration cube. The very first print came out .0X off on all axis, so I left the adjustments alone. That small of an increment wasn't enough for me to worry about.

After doing the calibration cube print, I attempted to make a print I had previously sliced in Cura using Chep's setup. I had already made other prints with his set up so nothing new was in play. For some reason, my nozzle is rising 2-4mm off the bed as soon as it starts printing. This is during the purge lines, setting the skirt, and printing. It acts as if being off the bed is it's new Zero. I can not for the life of me figure out what I've done wrong. I did not mess with anything what so ever. I went from a perfect print, to try to print again and it's been hell ever since. I can't even print the Dog STL that comes on the printer. Is there something I'm overlooking?
Please any help would be appreciated.

I'm printing PLA+ and have a thick amber colored compound dripping down on the side of my hotend. I've wiped it away and there's more coming down.
Can someone please advise on this?

New to printing

by Bowshooter

Hi all. I'm very new to 3D printing. My wife bought me an Ender 3 Pro for my birthday last month. I am enjoying learning to use it and learning how to create 3D models. I do have a question though. I recently went online to purchase more PLA filament from Gizmodorks. The problem is that the filament that I purchased is 3mm in diameter, and we all know that the Ender 3 Pro accepts 1.75mm filament. Is there a mod available to allow the use of the 3mm filament or do I need to return this filament that I accidentally bought?

How to take care of magnetic bed?

by tartazesliwkami

How do you take care of your magnetic bed? Do you wash it? With what and how often? Do you use acetone or hairspray with it? After 3 almost perfect prints I have some sticking issues and I think it might be connected with bad bed cleaning. Any pieces of advice will be highly appreciated!

Help needed

by Anakhet

Hey everyone I'm having issues with my Ender 3 pro. About 3 months ago I started having issues that went from layer shifting, to the nozzling falling out, to now after an hour it stops extruding. The filament seems to balloon in the tube blocking it. Most of the time I have to replace the tube because I can't remove the filament no matter what I do.

Here is what I have done:
Leveled the bed
Upgraded the springs
Upgraded the extruder
Replaced the whole hot end

Still though after 45 minutes filament stops coming out. Is there anyone here that can help me?
