Turnigy Multistar 30A BLHeli-30 4-In-1 Race Spec Issues

I am completely new to Drones and have purchased all the components I require to build it but I am running into an issue binding my FlySky FS-T6 to the receiver, I have tried binding it externally with a ESC and it works fine that way but from what I can tell the board is getting power but the receiver pins are not, unsure why this is as I can not see any visual issues but I have noticed the PDB is getting quite hot but not smoking or making any signs of it short circuiting however I am still very new to this so it may be that I am just missing something obvious. Any help would be great!

Bailey.

Building a Drone. I Might be in WAY Over my Head.

by Webshooter

Hi all,

I was on an FRC robotics team, and I have some motors that aren't being used anymore. They're am-9015s. 16000 rpm, and pretty heavy. They are about 3 inches long, and 1 inch in diameter.

Anyways, I'm wanting to use them to build a pretty big quadcopter, but I don't know a whole lot about the electronics of an r/c drone. I know that I could get some things from the vendors for FRC, but it's really really expensive that way, and I'd have to use WiFi.

I was hoping that there was someone that could point me in the right direction. I need a way to communicate with the drone, a controller for it, motor controllers that I can put 12 volts and ~65 amps through, and an idea of what battery I should use (has to be 12V). Another thing I can't seem to find is large propellers. I'm going to need 6-12 inch diameter. If it's 6 inch, I'll need more than 2 blades on each prop.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Andrew
