As the topic theme suggests, I am planning to install two switches to be used as filament runout sensors.
The switches that I'll be use are the following, which I've already used on my Anet AM8 and FLSUN QQ-S with great success:
My question has to do with the Creality v2.2 board my CR-X has: the board has a dedicated filament runout sensor connector (three pins, my guess are signal, 5V, ground with the ground signal towards the edge of the board). According to the latest Marlin 2.0 InsanityAutomation firmware, the CR-X uses motherboard pins 2 and 15 for two filament sensors.
My question is where pin 15 is located on the board? Pin 2 should be the signal pin on the filament runout sensor connector.
Is there a schematic of the board available that shows all the available pins?
Thank you very much in advance.
Just acquired a CR-X that was an amazon return. Looks to have everything in order. Just missing a few small things. What I’m looking for are the test or sample prints that should have been included on the microSD card that I don’t have. I’ve looked on the creality web page and didn’t see where I could download them. I could have over looked it though. Does anyone know where I can get these test print files? Thanks in advance.
I don't yet have a CR-X but have a question on the purge block for large prints.
If I wanted to print something in PLA to full height and needed PVA support but only from the bed up to 50mm, would the purge block stop at 50mm or does it keep building the purge block for the whole height of the print regardless of the fact that it's only using PLA from 50mm upward?
