Hi,

What printer do you have?

You need a filament sensor first, that you can buy online or make yourself with a switch and a printed case. Examples from shops maybe close to you:

https://reprapworld.nl/listing/extruder/extruder_parts/filament_detection/

Or

https://www.123-3d.nl/3D-printer-onderdelen/Extruder/Filament-sensoren-p15361.html

Then you need somewhere to plug the sensor to, maybe your printer if you can plug-in and activate the sensor in the firmware, or alternatively you can build an Octoprint server on a Raspberry Pi and plug the sensor on the Pi. However this is more expensive and mode difficult to build.

Cheers,
B.

Hello,
