Samsung Galaxy S4 phone camera, I took 12 pictures at 3 levels for a total of 36 (and one from the top made 37 but it was rejected) outside with good light.
Imported photos into 3DF Zephyr (free) and it did it's thing (I need to find out all about what it's doing). I then exported a ply file which I couldn't open in Meshmixer so went back and created a obj file. This looked dreadful in Meshmixer, full of big holes and little gaps and quite unlike the 'nice' image I'd seen in 3DF Zephyr. So I tried to open this in Blender (which I also don't know) and it looked fine, so exported it to a stl and Meshmixer loaded this fine.
Played with the stl in Meshmixer enough to think I'm going to enjoy this new learning curve... and there's a lot to learn.
I'm pretty pleased with this though :)
