I have been a graphic artist since my college days at Herron School of Art in Indianapolis in 1978. I did mechanical drawings for an architect firm early on and was asked to do a catalog for a large brass fittings company in the early 80's. I taught myself Autocad for the project and found I had talent for digital drafting. I worked for several large commercial building contractors preparing detailed shop drawings for Mechanicals and Millwork. I found Fusion 360 was a perfect fit for software that I was already comfortable with and am now working on 3d projects. A couple of my accomplishments are mechanical drawings for the Bandag Corporation for their world headquarters and a toothbrush that went into happy meals world wide for the Mc Donalds corporation in conjunction with Oral B Laboratories.
I am also an avid RC Model plane builder and have scratch designed and built several aircraft of my own CAD design.
