I actually wrote a lot in this box, but I'm going to have to come back. When I selected A profile image, after it uploaded, it reloaded this page and deleted all of my input. Basically, I'm a patent attorney who offers several engineering in cad services. God, I am bummed to of lost that. I talked about the various projects I'm doing, and the different CAD packages I've used.
Whenever I pick up a new CAD program, the first thing I make is my law-practice logo, which is basically just an intersect of a D and B. A 3-D print of one of the earlier versions is my profile picture. The first time I made it, I did it in tinker cad while volunteering at a Makerfaire booth for Wake robotics, and NC first team in Cary, North Carolina. I was demonstrating sketch up and tinker cad to visitors.
Maaaaaaan, what a bummer. I am not typing that all out again. Maybe I'll come back and add it in. But right now, I've got to get back to work. :-(
You can learn about my practice and read the various things I've read, and see several of my models and engineering stuff that meanders away from strictly patent practice on my website, www.Becker-IP.com. That also redirects to my other URL, www.Beckerpatent.com
I'm also on Twitter at @danbeckr, instagram at @beckeripdotcom, and facebook (search for Becker-ip.com).
I was surprised to not see on shape among the modeling programs. It's my favorite out of all the CAD programs I use, particularly because I can just run it on my phone anytime I have a free second. The other enormous convenience of being able to fly around models with just my fingertips. I think it feels like inventor, but it is friendlier, apart from having to use "anchor points" to do relations in assemblies
