I'm having trouble printing the parts with the cone-shaped "pillars". The "foot" of the pillars intersect the base of the main object, creating an overlap of solids in 3-D space. This appears to be confusing my slicers. The result is a boolean subtraction of the overlapping region leading to disconnected islands floating in space and voids in the part. I have reproduced this in both Simplify3D and ReplicatorG (Skeinforge). Am I doing something wrong here? and/or What slicer have you used successfully? Also Could you send me the source code as well for this model, I could make the adjustments to work with my slicer.
