I've considered it. BUT... As said in the description I got only 2ID 4ID pushfit and I don't find any reliable (read shipping cost) 4ID 6ID pushfit on eBay... Even don't know what kind of MK pulley is needed to carry the 3mm filament.
Surely I'll made one, or at least I'll give it a try. Consider the fact that my NEMA17 is the 1A model, and tend to skip steps at fast printing speeds and I use an high quality 1.75 (I made it with +/-0.01 tolerance) filament in couple with a 0.3 J-Head nozzle.
I'm quite worried that the 3mm filament will be too much for a stepper at higher print speeds.
I'm thinking (and sketching) about of an ultra compact geared extruder, like the Wade but with the size of a Bowden, to step down the motor torque need and at the same time make the feeding of the filament more precise and smooth.
At the moment I'm working on it. Be patient ^^. But, as said, I think it will not be a "pure" Bowden. Surely it should be reliabe for Rostok, Prusa and any other printer that will need some kind of filament to print.
Considering all the above, please tell me if it will fit your needs and if u got ideas about it, shoot it, I'm an open mind!
