Yeah I saw it ages ago, though I'm not sure about buback's method of clamping the belt with printed teeth, that's the main sticking point for me, having had trouble with backlash whenever the belt got slack before.
Besides that, I like the original x-carriage design for its robustness, heavier as it may be, I'd rather have overkill for the best accuracy that I can get than be minimalistic when I already have a printer running. I'm not exactly sure about that single dangling bearing either, and this way I can mount an extruder in whichever direction suits. :)
