allows you to interact with all your printers via the Cloud, and many other exciting new features.
As far as I know aluminum or carbon fiber tubes are way more expensive than smooth rods. And motors are actually not carring the tubes, but carriages that are sliding on them. From this point different (lighter) slider would make more sense.
But if you have a cheap and reliable source of those tubes you are welcome to try :D.
