In order for the timing to be uniform, a four stroke radial engine needs to have an odd number of cylinders in each row. The only real radial engines that you will find with an even number of cylinders are those that have multiple rows of cylinders - each row having an odd number of cylinders.

A two stroke radial engine could have an even number of cylinders but I don't know of any real world examples.
