i made one out of a mix of ABS and PLA and PETG.
i like that all the parts are designed to print with no, or minimal supports, but every joint has a problem. Either the joints dont go together, or dont stay together. The wrists fused together, and i split them from the fore arms, and was able to sand the edge of the joint, and snap it in place, in the end this joint was the most reliable joint, it dosnt come apart, and has smooth movement. the shoulders are decent. the hips constantly fall out of place, and so do the feet and hands. The knees also would not fit together unless i narrowed the lower leg, I never got the tail to print, tried every setting on both the block version, and the one piece versions. The one piece version fuses no matter what i do, and the blocks dont fit together if printed separate.
i take some stars off for all the trouble, i leave some cuz some of that trouble may be on my end, and leave some more cuz i do like the over all design of the monkey. Sense its unfinished with its missing tail, and a broken hip, i feel its not fair to post pics of it, hence why this is a comment, rather than a "make", maybe one of these days i will get it printed out in full. it really is a cool monkey.
