Dang, that doesn't sound good. I followed the instructions here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3188888 for installation.

Another option to get it installed would be to heat up the handle of the blade a little bit then press it into the printed part. Or maybe safer, just put a heat gun to the notch on the printed part so it gets soft enough to press the blade into. In both cases be sure to avoid heating too much.
