Since publishing this model however, I have learned from other models that you did the correct thing, and makers often reupload pointy models with widened tips because of users being unable to print them. Thanks for letting me know, this has been a learning experience for me as well! Regarding the pins, it may look like you don't need them right now and you certainly don't, but after switching rails a lot mine became looser and looser, and thus the pins began to make sense.
