How to get the Kinect scanner operational on the computer:

First, go to:

Click on: Download and run the "Kinect Configuration Verifier tool" to check your system configuration.
Run: KinectConfigurationVerifierSetup.exe

Second, go to:
https:// www.microsoft*com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=40278
Click on: "click here to download manually"
Run: 2 -KinectSDK-v1.8-Setup.exe

Third, go to:
https:// www.microsoft*com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=44561
Click on: "click here to download manually"
Run: KinectSDK-v2.0_1409-Setup.exe

Fourth, go to:
https:// www.microsoft*com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=40276
Click on: "click here to download manually"
Run: KinectDeveloperToolkit-v1.8.0-Setup.exe

Fifth, get a scan program such as:
ReconstructMe http:// reconstructme*net/
