Glad this worked out for you and good luck with your new printer. This is a very satisfying hobby! I did use the 1 meter cable (got mine from Adafruit https://www.adafruit.com/product/2143) and it worked out really nicely. I also printed a few extra of Prusa's ribbon cable clips to neatly route it under the printer. I can't remember if I located those with the Drivers/Firmware, his site or the Prusa GitHub site. But they are out there and open source if you need them.
I use Octoprint and time-lapse all my prints. Works perfectly. Originally, that camera's ball mount seemed like it might work loose and I thought I'd have to redesign and make something that could be snugged into place with a locking screw but it works well and stays put even with all the back and forth during infills.
