I'm working on the MK III now. In order to get the most cooling volume, I'm considering using a hollow aluminum tube bent in a rough "light bulb" shape (possibly 2 tubes) with vents cut in the side fed from a large squirrel cage fan. Still keepin the 30mm front fan for the extruder bore since that seems to work really well.
The plan at the moment is to use a flex cable shaft to drive the extruder, keeping the bondtech gears but relocating the motor to the main frame to save on weight. Lots of unknowns with that one though. It's getting there at least, so I should theoretically have something to post soon.
