MakerBot Print is our newest print-prepration software, which supports native CAD files and STL assemblies,
allows you to interact with all your printers via the Cloud, and many other exciting new features.
There's a number of similar requests to yours already and the new version(s) coming out soon will use 1/4 - 20 attachment points together with metric parts elsewhere as that's easiest for me to access here in Australia. This older version will still remain for those who want to use purely imperial fittings. For my next project I plan to make a kit up of all the nuts, bolts, springs, dampener cartridges, etc, together with parts that aren't easily printed and offer it for sale. I think that's the single biggest thing holding some people back from making it. The two new stabilizers are coming out very soon and I'll definitely be selling them as parts kits and as complete units on my website www.scottymakesstuff.com
