Hi, you can print on the plate if you use hairspray or 3DLAC or something like that, but I recommend to use a Tape that you can permanently use, like build Tak. The heated build plate makes it possible that the parts can easily be removed after you let the plate cool down, so you do not damage the tape with a spatula usually.
