Hi BerniApple. I'll try to help you with customizing the OpenScad file to your needs.
At first, the mounting plate should be wider and longer to give you enough room for 13mm screw heads (see line 44/45, base_width/base_length). I set it to base_width = 20 and base_length = 80. At second, the position of the holes must be adjusted to shift a little inwards. Have a look at lines 132/133 and change -6 / +6 to -10 / +10. At last adjust the size of holes itsself. In lines 164/165 change the radius from m3_wide_radius / m3_head_radius to the radi of you screw / screw head with a little extra margin. For example a M8 screw with a 13mm head should go with "8/2 + 0.3" instead of m3_wide_radius and "13/2 + 0.3" instead of m3_head_radius.
Hopefully you get along with this short guide. Please feel free to adjust the parameters to your needs and get back to me whenever there are any further questions according OpenScad.
