I bought my Wanhoa printer a while ago, after messing with a velleman do-it-yourself-printer that did not really turned out that well for me (two left hands and all that).
For now I am pretty happy with the Wanhoa printer.
I intend to use my printer for small robotic parts and childrens toys, and whatever else seems fun to print.
I like Openscad alot, as it allows precise modelling. I only wish there was a version of OpenScad available that could convert really complex creations to STL, as I find Openscad lacking in that. Otherwise I tried a number of other 3d programs, but found none fitting my particular requirements. (ie, cheap and good :).
I love the Wanhoa printer, but am a bit tired of calibrating it constantly. Also I am hoping for the next 3d print technology to become more affordable.
Tools I Use…
Printers: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus
Design Programs: OpenSCAD
