The Ender 3 has been a great 3D printer. Being my first 3D printer, it has been a journey learning about it, upgrading it and learning about how to improve my prints and resolve issues.
For the first month I constantly dealt with filament jamming issues, however, a ABL (BLTouch) completely fixed that issue. I also had issues with my prints not staying adhered to the bed. However, I found that I was cooking the filament at too high a temperature on the bed; causing the filament to shrink, start peeling up at the corners, and eventually loosing total adhesion from the bed. Working on a mirror surface, along with some strong hairspray like Aqua Net (Extra Super Hold), keeping the bed temperature completely eliminated those issues.
Now that the basic issues have all been resolved, I now enter the next chapter of 3D Printing. I can now focus on my creativity and have the security of knowing that when I print some long multi-day job, I don't have to keep an eye on the printer every minute.
