Someone I live with told me I needed a hobby, so I just started. I'm amazed at what can be done by people that know how to use their tools and software. Maybe I'll get there someday too. Initially, friends asked "What are you going to do with that?!" usually dumbfound that I have one. I quickly learned that to improve, the question needs a slight tweek that most creators already know -- "What CAN'T you make with that?!". I look around, and sharpen my design and print skills with the mundane around me (I'm not good enough with the software to design anything I consider amazing). I print other designs and wish I could create them. I create designs that are straightforward and functional, and might solve problems that I shouldn't have (for example : an extra large key fob because we keep loosing the bathroom key at work; p.s. this can break the key ...).
