This is a fun hobby. I've really enjoyed the things shared by others and I hope to give back to the community. Any original creation I share here you are welcome to create and sell. If you make some money, consider tipping me. However, please don't sell the design files as your own - they are a gift to the community.
I'm pretty new to modern 3D design software so my first designs probably won't be spectacular. I took AutoCad for digital circuit design in college way back in 1992 and wow have things changed for the better. I'm a lot better at designing things for laser cutting, though. I've been using Corel Draw for years and the concept of designing flat things that assemble into 3D things has been easy to learn, much easier than making models in 3D. But learning new things is part of the fun, right?
Modifying my machines has been as fun as creating things. My Laser cutter now has a 1000mm 45w tube and a Cloudray power supply. It also has LED lighting and a high powered, adjustable exhaust fan. It cuts 1/4" hickory with ease and 3mm plywood and MDF cut like butter. My Tronxy 3D printer now has a Y carriage that I designed and laser cut.
