Born in 1850 in Dublin, James Purcell had lived a long life filled with hardships that would likely have killed the average person.
Whilst most of his life is shrouded in mystery and intrigue, what can be released has been through his journals.
He moved to Bristol in 1860 where he spent his early years in the local common school with other children who lived in the area. After gaining the eye of a professor in Bristol James became his understudy and began his education in Mythology.
In 1872 James was betrothed to the professors' daughter but after a night at the theatre they were attacked by an unknown assailant and his fiancée was killed.
When the professor disappeared James was convicted of both his and his daughter's murders - how he escaped the hangman's noose is a matter of great speculation and much secrecy.
In 2011 James returned to England to become managing director of Æther Technology and Transport.
