I am a software developer by trade, an apprenticed carpenter and jeweler by family tradition, and an artist by insatiable urge to create. I am pretty new to 3D printing, having just branched into it through access to a local Makerspace. My first experiment in 3D printing was producing a trumpet mouthpiece for easy modification and addition to my Suzuki Melodion. I wanted to try to use a trumpet mouthpiece on the instrument, but didn't want to machine down an expensive brass one to find it wasn't to my playing taste. The 3D printed mouthpiece was a perfect prototype, and I enjoyed producing it so much that I decided to learn more about 3D printing.
I now design, print, and paint tabletop gaming miniatures as a hobby. I have always enjoyed painting miniatures, and am happy to be able to print my own and even throw together new ones from scratch when I am looking for something very specific.
