I am a graduate form the University of Kansas. Throughout my studies I have sought inspiration from classic car design, classic science fiction literature, as well as examples of mechanical engineering. As a designer I rely heavily on visualizing and brainstorm within my own head, and only sketching (usually often) to communicate my design to other individuals. I am able to visualize complex design and mechanics in a far more fluid and unrestrained fashion, than by relying on sketches only. I have extensive experience with all things mechanical, from car engines and suspensions to sub woofers and other audio components. I have designed and built several fully functional designs like a portable audio system that uses real world enclosure tuning and Bluetooth connectivity, and a 1/5 scale RC car with fully independent suspension and conceptual technologies. I am an individual who enjoys problem solving. There is nothing more exciting to me than to have a complex problem handed to me and to brainstorm solutions and to build and test those solutions.
